I was working on installing some speakers and the battery died on me. Can probably be attributed to music playing, headlights on due to always leaving them on auto (stupid me. I did this once before...), driver's door and trunk open, and the car was never running.

Anyway, I saw a warning (power steering I think) flash up on the iMid as I was checking preouts on the head unit and then the battery died about 15-30 seconds later. Jumped it. Started no problem, but no display on the iMid...

So, who knows what fuse to check for the iMid?

Also, does anybody think that unhooking the battery for 10-15 minutes to reset the ecu might do the trick?

I would try that and see what happens.... could be what the problem is. Unless you shorted out something checking pins, but I doubt it, if you were listening to music, with lights and other loads on, sounds like the battery voltage was low enough for it to kill everything. Charge up the battery and reconnect the wires.

That's a tough one, for me at least. Looked at the manual page 318 the fuses description and there is nothing about imid or display in general.

Here are all of them listed, sorry for the bad formatting :(

Too bad not a single one says iMid.

Could the loud music have caused a vibration making one of your newly installed pins come loose? Hmmmmm? These pins are for the reverse camera though....would it even matter if one did? I would guess that only your reverse camera would to work, not the entire Imid screen. .????

Reverse camera goes into the Head Unit. Not the iMid.

Yep. Looked at the schematic and it says the iMid runs off A19 for premium audio.

That doesn't make sense, though. I never lost audio.

On the other hand, I went out to lunch and the iMid is working again. :confuzzled:
