So I bought my Orange 2009 Honda civic Si January 2012. Then my love for Honda's Really started even tho it was partially there already, I bought and installed two T1's in a ported box with a 1200 watt amp, bought a taketa cold air intake, Got the mod bug and burnt up my clutch racing so I Bought a exedy stage 1 clutch and lightweight flywheel. Then the unfortunate happened, I totaled the car 06-30-2013. Found a taffy white fa5 with all the right mods (mainly Hondata & RRC) and love at first sight. I have huge plans for this car, my main goal is to make it a beautiful, yet fast, JDM conversion, k24 turbo, 9 second FA5 and just have fun doing it. I understand its a little unrealistic but we all have to have goals and well I shoot for the impossible with everything so F*** It. Hope you enjoy my build and thanks for stopping in.
Stay clam and :vtec: on!

That is all for now. Im getting this car ready for a K24 big turbo build, Id like to get a hatch sometime in the next couple of years and get it ready for a kswap and when i put the k24 in the FA5 ill use the k20 out of the car and build it a little and throw in the hatch along with a sc and other goodies. Any Questions, Comments, or Suggestions feel free. thanks for viewing.

I originally got on this fourm I was gonna trade my orange fa5 in for a white 13 sedan that didn't happen because of my money situation. So that's my car, and my plan for now. So any questions or comments welcomed. Thanks for looking.

Well the 2014 si models are supposed to be at dealerships this spring. Non-si models in the next two months or so from what workers have been saying.

what year is your taffy?

I have a non-Si and I'm just as attached as you are to your Si lol

Was just checking out your build thread I like what you have done. I want the new car to be just looks so I'm thinking ill probably get the non si version but totally undecited on that right now. How good of gas mpg are you getting?

Mpg? Preformance? Like how do you mean?

AT acceleration sucks IMO. I find that I have to "floor it" sometimes just to make the car move. Then of course by doing so, the MPGs decrease. My GF's 9th gen is averaging 30-32 MPGs each tank. I have read a lot of complaints regarding the AT and its MPGs. Good gas mileage can still be achieved though, you just have to drive VERY conservatively.

Hmm well now I know either way I want tne manual. I was depating the AT for a more comfortable ride. But the manual will be fine.

I, too, have one of each. There's a reason the manual has 6k miles and the AT just hit 1k lol. We both drive the AT like a baby and I can't seem to hit anything above 30mpgs. I drive the manual like I stole it of course, and I get 34-36.

Thanks for sharing I like to drive that wayhaha:vtec:so defiantly no AT but now to decide si or non si because I'm not a coupe person so sedan and color probably white but I miss my orange sedan so that's deff. A option.
