Honda Confirms Type-R For U.S. At Civic Concept Debut

Reasoning for going with evo?

i want something i can drive all year, 4 doors, AWD and turbo is a bonus. iv been wanting to make this move for a bit now but finally the wife kinda pushed me in the direction i needed to go. i love my HFP to death, but i think il have much more fun in a evo all year

Any reasons for picking the evo over the new STI?

i dont wanna deal with the garbage EJ motor. over 20 years and they still cant seem to get it right. a big red flag happens with every used subaru i see "new motor at 80K" or **** like that. plus i dont wanna have to jack the car up and remove the front tires to switch the spark plugs. evo to me seems like the best option. plus theres tons of guys getting 350 AWHP after only a couple grand. plus i can run much mroe aggressive wheel specs

Renault was faster around the track. Notice the dashboard in Hype R and Megane:eek:

Wager it has to do with the longer straights on the ring.

Dan said it while testing the Civic that the factory tires were the main issue. If both cars were equipped with the same tires then the result would be different.:banana whip2: Type R is 80kg heavier according to what he said.

Rumor is there is suppose to be a press release in June ?
yes. A lot of people keep saying june 15th as a release day for sales, but it's rumors at this point. Si pricing info was given like a day before launch, so who knows.
