R18 ECO mode in Manual Transmission

Does anyone notice if you use the ECO mode "Manual Transmission" it has more Torque and Save more MPG. I don't know in Automatic transmission. Usually I turned the ECO off when i'm driving, but after I watch this video and try it. It's 3 days already and yes it has more torque. also my friend noticed the torque, 2 months ago but i didn't pay attention.

That's the diesel, and it really shouldn't have any difference in torque.

I drive a '13 EX manual (gasoline, not diesel) and disagree that the Econ button adds torque. It feels like it changes the ECU map a bit to restrict my throttle response and low end power (as well as A/C and other cabin stuff). Although, if you kick the motor up passed 5k RPM it doesn't feel too much different than without the Econ mode engaged (vtec yo?)

I usually only turn it on if I'm driving a date or my family around to make the shifts smoother and to kill my desire to drive too quickly, haha.
