'13 Si Dash Garnish in '13 EX?

Hey guys,

I’m getting a 2 din head unit soon and will need to purchase a new dash bezel. The one included on Crutchfield is flat black so I’ll have to replace the left side dash garnish in order to have them match. Since I’d be getting an extra anyways, I was thinking about buying OEM Si dash pieces because I LOVE the carbon look of the ’13 Si. I can’t think of any reason why the Si piece wouldn’t fit an EX since they look pretty much the same. Has anyone tried this or know any reason why it wouldn’t work? The carbon looking pieces are more expensive so I was hoping to get some type of confirmation that they’d fit prior to ordering them.

That is an excellent idea. Unfortunately, I got caught up in upgrades last night and ended up buying a new sound system, rear sway, and new tires for my car within about 30 minutes of each other (fraud alert slowed me down, LOLOL). I will check out the forum deal in a few weeks after I sit in a corner and feel bad about how much money I just spent on my car for a little while, lol.
