Taking everything apart with plastic pry tools made quick work of center console disassembly.

I was very impressed with how well everything went back together. Everything snap together and popped in place quite nicely. I think the shifter looks beautiful and the shortened throw is amazing.

If anything get the shift bushings. They compliment the shifter very well. That notchy feel they add to the shifter is amazing.

Yes, I plan on getting them next. After I get my coilovers installed the shift bushings are next on my list.

The shifter and bushings makes it a much better driving experience. It's how the car should be made.

Ohh, there are threads about Acuity short shifter, woot !

I actually am ordering one for myself. These are the components I am getting in a bundle since it is cheaper as a bundle:

1: 1x 9th Gen Civic ACUITY Adjustable Short Shifter
2: 1x SHIFTER CABLE BUSHING UPGRADE (for various 2007+ vehicles)
3: 1x POCO Low-Profile Shift Knob in Satin Purple Anodized Finish

This springs are optional for me. I'm not sure whether I need it or not. Anyone using springs (below) at all?

K-Series Transmission Performance Select Springs
  • Increases shifter centering force by approximately 50%
  • Increased spring force makes shifter centering more "snappy"
  • black-oxide coated for better oil retention
