can i install a 2012 navigation in my 2012 with navigation?

My 2012 exl has nav I have the opportunity to grab a bunch of parts from a 2013 with nav will the 2013 nav install in a 2012 witrh navi and is it plug and play?

is the 2013 a better nav unit or the same as 12???

The dash design is different between the two years. You may be able to swap just the nav unit itself and it still may work. What I would suggest is going somewhere like collegehillshondaparts.com and seeing if the nav units have the same part numbers. If they do it will be plug and play, but this also means that there would be no advantage to swapping the unit out for the newer one.
