K24Z7 Cams and Headwork

These cams will require springs and retainers.
I am also not sure how stock the idle will be, without the vtec on the exhaust side Im sure we will have nice lope.
With the cams we will let everyone know that Flashpro is critical for them to run properly along with a good tune

drop in, when referring to camshafts, generally refers to 2 main things.

1.) no springs and retainers required
2.) they will idle like stock

They usually claim it will work on stock ecu, which technically it does. It just doesn't run well.

That's exactly what It meant to me too. Thanks for verifying. Every cam swap I've done required tuning to run efficiently. Even simple upgrades like b18cr cams in a b16a head.

We welded up the stock cams as a test set for testing but did not like the results of welding these cams. The 2012 Honda cams are hollow and when welding starting warping and became very fragile, so the next step is to just do the test cams in billet which is what we would have been selling and get those done soon

Any results yet?

FKX Racing stage 5 head, flow bench proven

If you swap to a k20z3 (rbc) head, it flows at 291cfm at .600, we prefer ported stock head because if you ever decide to go back to stock ? It’s much easier.., and our head with supertech valve train flow bench proves it outflow k20a head & k20z3 head.

And these k series head flow bench by 4piston, so it’s very accurate
