    Tire shine

Nix pretty much summed it up perfectly. Not a fan of the super wet, Vaseline look. Megs Hyper Dressing is nice but has to be bought by the gallon so it would be overkill for you. Other good options are Optimum Tire Shine and Opti-Bond, as well as CarPro Pearl.

 Well, as long as she's happy with it. For future reference let her know the magic eraser is abrasive and using it on leather will abrade away the top coat. So while it may have removed most of the ink, It likely removed most of her top coat too. Note, the side portion of the seat with...

    To Car Cover or Not?

The only time I suggest using a car cover is when it's stored inside and the car is 100% clean and dry before putting it on. When I had my show car I would let it cool down after driving and then I'd wipe it down with a detail spray before putting the cover on it so it was squeaky clean. The...

    Interior

Solid info above by Nix and I can't really add much. When it comes to leather I almost always stick to products designed for leather it as it's easy to damage the top coat. Leave the Magic Erasers for the bathroom tub as the are abrasive and will damage the leather. I typically just deal with...

Bad Car Wash Chemicals. Possible Paint Damage?

As Nix mentioned, those chemicals are pretty harsh, but your car also has single stage paint and it's probably a little oxidized too, which made it more susceptible to the staining. I good polishing should bring it back to life. ;)

Best detailing products to use for the money?

A lot of it comes down to user preference and the user will usually dictate the outcome, regardless of product. If you want over the counter and available locally, Meguiar's is going to be your best bet IMO. If you're willing to order online you will be overwhelmed with all the choices, but...

Touch up paint not 100% match?

Metallics are a bit#h! The flake lays differently vs. being sprayed and I've never had one where I'm 100% happy with it. :( I would agree with other on getting it from here though. http://www.automotivetouchup.com

    Pinstripes?

That's pretty reckless work by the pin stripe installer. I would agree in seeing if the dealer will fix it first. Otherwise the stripe can easily be removed by heating it up with a heat gun/hair dryer and peeling them off. If any residue is left behind it can be removed with some 3M adhesive...

    Rasky's work! :)

Thank you! They don't always come out so well though and IMO they don't usually show how bad the paint really was. Lighting is key and I'm slowly learning by playing with different apertures on different colors, a tip from another user. Having the time to take the shots helps too, which I often...

    Rasky's work! :)

Thanks! You be surprised how much correction you can get with a DA polisher like the Porter Cable 7424. Pad and product choice, as well as technique are key though. I say go for it...pretty hard to mess up the paint with a DA like that. ;)

They are actually Bentley Wheels and he used the stock wheels for the winter. I didn't know it prior doing doing those cars, but they are actually based off the Continental GT. I actually noticed a lot of similar/carry over features on the Flying Spur too.

    Rasky's work! :)

LOL, Yep! Plan to start our home addition next year and I was going to need a truck. Was looking at used trucks on Autotrader and an add popped up for this one, lease for $269 a month, $269 down at signing. Was a no brainer for me. :) Haven't had time to do anything other than wash it...
