Finally got the catted RV-6 down pipe with Full Race exhaust installed about 2 weeks ago(600 mikes). It sounds great.
The weather has been terrible,so only a few chances to open it up, you can feel the mid range gain in torque and speed right away.
The quality of the down pipe is unbelievable...
That looks interesting. I feel like I hear the most road noise from the doors and the front. I used to work at an auto glass shop..been awhile since I ripped a door panel off, so paranoid about scratching/breaking the panels.
The roads are crap where I live, I'm sure that plays a factor.
I had an 08' lx but I can't recall caring about the road noise although i was younger then too.
Anyone hear think it would be possible to transfer some of the noise reduction elements from the '13 si model to the '12 si model? Or any other noise reduction techniques?

Installed this with my buddy about 2 weeks ago. No issues at all so far. Love. It. You can definately hear the tone change when the V-tec cross-over happens. It's a tight squeeze if you add the throttle body spacer but I just had him pull back on the intake(after its mounted in) as i slipped on...
Think I'm leaning more toward the rv6 now. Since I cant see myself doing any kind of forced induction anytime soon.

Am I a dummy or are the spoilers on the coupes different then the sedans?
Also I see pics of rides having the mesh grill at the top and bottom or the grills seem different..

It would be a 3 years at least before I went s/c or turbo. Maybe this rv6 combo would make more sense with the full race exhaust then, instead of the full race down pipe If I want n/a performance. What do you guys think?
Prob do a skunk2 manifold too if one comes out..
You guys really think you lose low end torque with a 3" dp ? I'm waiting on the FR dp to come out, figure it would be smart to go that route in case I want to turbo or s/c in the future. I wonder how significant the loss is...?
