True that Squiggy. Went back to Rochester this past week. Hopped off the 90 in Geneva and rode 96 the whole way in. Those country roads are so smooth and there are no cops out there. Great scenery too. Such a nice crisp fall day mixed with some great straightaways adn nice curves.
Found them on Ebay for cheap. Already changed them out to super bright white ones. Moving towards a cleaner look and not so 19 year old kid look. No offense to any 19 year olds. Haha
I'm wondering just that. What is the difference between the two? The only thing I see is that Max A/C looks like it is just the recycled air from inside the car. Am I correct? Isn't that kinda gross. I mean if someone happens to be sick or coughs, the air would just get recycled throughout the...
For the record, it WILL NOT fit a coupe. I ordered one off CarId that was told it would fit the coupe. It did not. It does not line up at all. They have different models for the coupe. Please research this if you plan on buying any aftermarket parts. I made this mistake and it cost me about $100...
I would love to see this for the coupe. What's killing me is not buying the Si. Everytime I go searching for parts and such, all I find are items made for the Si. So hard to find stuff for the non Si models. Note to self, next time splurge a little.
When you did yours PSF, at what point did you remove your taping job? I think I screwed up and removed it once the last coat was on and wet. I'm thinking it should have been removed the first time when it was wet. Then would you have to tape it over and over again for the layers of thickness?
Yeah I was trying different patterns out and just settled on this. I had something I wanted to do in the middle but that didn't end up working out. Maybe next time. Haha
Welp finished off the hood tonight. First time doing this on the car itself. Came out OK. I'm not entirely happy with it, but I learned some lessons along the way. 1) Remove the tape when the Plasti-Dip is wet. 2) Hold the can high enough so you don't drag the bottom through creating a line...
I currently have the Ex model of this beautiful car and want to do a few minor upgrades that won't break the bank. CAI is high on the list. I see that you can buy them for my car, but I have a few questions I would like answered before I go ahead and drop $300 on one. What real world power does...
Ever start a small project and turns in to something way bigger. Yeah I couldn't stop at the center console so I ripped apart my entire dash and now Plasti-Dipping those larger grey pieces. There may be a few spots I might have to do inside the car, but hopefully all this work is worth it. I...
Yes, I saw that. I have a question. How did you get the perfect curve? What did you use? I want to go about 6" up on either side and curve it across the hood giving it a fluent and clean look. I'm not taping the hood and then using a razor to make the line. That's just dumb. lol.
Not sure if this is even the right section to post this, but if Webby decides to move it, I am cool with that. Ripped apart my glove box to Plasti-Dip it and decided to check out my cabin air filter. It's right behind the glove box for those of you who don't know. I pulled it out and Oh Wow it's...
Six Flags New England.
That is my next project Pain. I'm trying to convince my neighbor to let me borrow his garage. He works the exact opposite days I do. I want to do a bra about 6" up. Try and protect it from rocks and what not. Trying to think of an unconventional design though.
