I finally got this figured out. The dealership could not and thought it was the visor design. I was driving, heard the noise and put my hand in the space between the sunroof and the liner. The noise stopped. It was than that I realized that it was the seal on the moonroof that was the problem...
Brazilian cars often have a small gas tank up front because they are often dual fuel capable. They can start the car on gas but then run mostly on ethanol. It's probably has a small tank up front.
Snapped some pics of the Accord at the dealership yesterday.

They must have been delivered when the dealership was closed so they could not hide them.
Let me try this again:
My signature lists all my Hondas. Before I switched to Honda I had a 81 VW Rabbit, 75 Olds Delta 88, 71 Sabb 99, and a 71 Olds Delta 88. They were my cars through high school and college. Bought my first Honda after college and haven't had anything else for 26 years...

2 weeks, 650 miles, no noticeable oil consumption. Oil looks the same. I know it's early but still happy I found this thread. I might have ignored checking the oil. I've had 9 Honda's before this one and checking the oil has always seemed like a waste of time. I have never had to add in between...
Love this car, but what most people don't know, the European Civic is very different from ours in North America. The European Civic is based on the FIT/Jazz Platform so it is a bit smaller than what we have. Very different rear suspension. I would love to have the hatchback instead of the coupe...
There is no double sided tape. It is just a weatherstripping that goes around the leading edge. Pressure is supposed to seal it. I agree with Monk, in that I think the problem is on the leading edge. On my 03 Civic, it works great. Not so great on the 12 Civic. Here is a link to the install...
The dealer knew it was not fixed. They are working with me and are very nice about the whole thing. I'm contacting Honda through customer service, they will do what they can through their channels. I'm just looking to see if anyone else has had an issue.
I'll try and keep this short. Purchased a new Civic SI coupe recently. I had a Honda Moonroof Visor installed. When the car hits 35 miles an hour you hear a hissing noise like a tire loosing air. Long story short, worked with the dealer to determine its definitely the visor. Had it replaced...
New 2012 Honda Civic Si Coupe w/ Moonroof Visor, First Aid Kit, Cargo Net, Wheel Locks
MSRP $23,418
My Cost $22,327 included installation of all options.
Taxes, Registration and Dealer Fees were additional.
Not bad but not the greatest deal. I'm very happy however.
