The Best tool to open up the lights without scratching the plastic is a pick. You need a thin pointed head similar to what dentist use. Flat heads will damage the surrounding plastic. -sorry for the late response, I've been busy with work.

Really do like those headlights, I think I'm going to put them in the 13 si in about a year.

Quite amazing, they don't have a ricer look that most after market head lights have. I wonder how they will fend with the tails of time?
