Want To Buy OEM Parts for 2012 Si Sedan

You still looking for all these things? I should have all of these from my 2013 Si with about 5K miles on them. Tired of the parts taking up space in my garage!

Anyone else have ridiculously high miles/km on their civics already?

    I have about 10k on my 2013...

    Brakes smoking

Yeah, I wouldn't have guessed I could inflict that much destruction and still have any stopping power... I think the last of the pad must have went about the time I was getting off track... I'm hoping the StopTech setup is better for me. I'm thinking I'll also take Mr. jrotax's advice and get...

    Brakes smoking

Indeed, I put in my order for a StopTech kit today. Since I'd have to replace calipers anyway, I figured it's a no brainer... Plus side, my lap times were a full 2-3 seconds faster than a 3 series Dinan with more than 400 crank horse... But he didn't melt his brakes! ;-)

    Brakes smoking

So I pulled the pads this morning, thinking I'd just swap my factory rotors and pads back in again... The photos show what I found... The pads on both driver and passenger side have similar wear. Looks like the dust boots are gone in the calipers too (no surprise, it must have been...

    Brakes smoking

Interesting. I'm not sure what else to say/add. I did follow the Carbotech bed in procedure when I first installed pads, drove it for several months before the track days after that (I drive very little), but felt I was getting good application... Rotors are inexpensive blanks, so I wouldn't...

    Brakes smoking

One of my laps from PIR, just for fun, I'm a newb, so be kind! 1:39.02 lap time, no idea if that's good, bad, or ugly, like I said, I'm a newb! View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zl4b0NTm-gU

    Brakes smoking

Another update after two autocross sessions and two HPDE sessions at PIR... For street and autocross driving, the Carbotech XP10/XP8 combo was great and mostly overkill (if you can live with noise and dust). No more smoking pads with stupid spirited driving (though I've mostly quit that in...

    Finally ordering the Ct Supercharger!

My ct sc seems to have had a snout bearing failure. I emailed last weekend and never heard back... I'm overdriving with a 2.95" pulley, so I decided to just order some ceramic bearings and fix it myself rather than calling. It is frustrating though that they didn't even reply to my inquiry...

    How loud?

The catless down pipes are where a lot if volume comes from for sure. I put my cat back on first and it wasn't so bad... I do wake my neighbors... Fortunately just the teens as the adults are all up well before I leave in the morning!

    How loud?

Mine is loud as all gettyup with a full catless Full Race setup...and blower... Even just cruising. I'm definitely not sneaking up on anyone and if I had to freeway drive much it may annoy me. If I have to be quiet, I short shift and stay off the gas pedal...

forget slamming it lets talk stopping...

I can also recommend Carbotech pads. I'm running XP10/XP8 front/back. My car does sound like a dump truck and the pads dust like crazy, but they seem to handle my driving well thus far. I'm just on cheap Napa blank rotors. Two track days next week, so I'll see how they do under extreme...

    Coilcovers or Springs

Yep, I have a pile of parts I've taken off... Of course I'll likely be too lazy to ever put them back on...

    Brakes smoking

Reporting back in on the Carbotech XP10/XP8 front/rear combo... So they dust like hell and my car is as noisy as a dump truck, these things are true... I knew both of those things were a likely outcome going in and I'm completely happy with these pads on the street thus far. I've only had...

2nd oil change, wonder if this is ok

Probably fine, but just out of curiosity, did you use a new crush washer on the oil pan bolt? You're *supposed* to use one every time. I rarely do on any of my cars and haven't ever had an issue, but... Personally, I'd just clean it all off very well and recheck it later (and obviously check...
