This is way way way over due, but, if anyone else ends up needing help. I installed a new motor and that wasn't the problem either, nor was I expecting it to be. Back to square 1. I ended up going through and checking all of the fuses again 1 by 1. I quadruple checked them under the drives side...
I wish I was more mechanically proficient to try that myself. For stuff I've done myself tutorials have helped me. This problem is so 'rare' that I haven't even seen others with this issue. It's sooo weird. Just got the motor in from autozone since all of the fuses and relays seemed to be...
Yep did all that. Took it to one mechanic but didn't really know what he was doing. Going to take it to another so we can see what it is. Really odd.
I'm starting to think that fuse 46 was probably empty from the beginning and there wasn't supposed to be one there in the first place??
Yep!! That is exactly the fuse that was missing. Popped it in there and still isn't working. Haha. Kind of frustrating. I don't even hear the wiper motor whirring when I try to use it so I have a fear that may be what's wrong.
I'm baffled as to why that would go out in the first place... If...
Hey everyone!
Odd situation... Tried to use my wipers today and noticed they weren't working. At all. Scenario of events:
I recently hardwired my radar detector by tapping into an already hardwired dash cam though I don't think that was the cause.
Took my car to the dealer for maintenance as...
You've spent so much money on your si dude. If you still like it, keep it and get a 4 door beater. If you don't like your si anymore then go ahead and do what your doing. Just MHO :)
I feel like you've made up your mind for the most part. Lol. You want that Beemer and I think you're going to get it. :).
I vouch for accord and if not that, then the g37x(awd). Very nice cars. Though, to be honest, Infiniti is not that reliable either.
A ford will always be a ford. I dont know why people buy them. To each their own. You can never go wrong with a Honda. Reliable, fun to drive, great resale value if you decide to go that route. It's not necessarily "fast", but, it is very fun to drive. Those who don't agree can go buy a ford...
I love mine! No silencer. LAF! Very loud and helps with the throttle response immensely. Other than the silencer, not much else you can do. It also depends on how you drive it. I drive mine like a grandma later at night and keep the rpms low which keeps the noise down drastically.
Yup. So decided to drive my Si and tow the teggy instead. Funner to drive the Si and I feel more comfortable putting the teggy on the dolly. My 14 si already has 23k on it. What's another 1700 going to go. Much more fun to drive!
Thx webby. Guess I'm going with the dolly plasti dipped front. The trailers are a lot more expensive and I don't have a awd vehicle so it would serve no real purpose.
Dolly = $45. Flatbed =$300. I'm also concerned about paint chips etc, should I plasti dip the lower half of the rear to protect it? Not really worried about rear tire wear. Hope they wear out sooner rather than later lol. Stock tires aren't that great tbh.
Hey guys,
So I'm moving across the country and am wondering what's the best way to tow my car? I know it's fwd and so a tow dolly should suffice, but would it cause any damage? I don't think so personally and from my research but would like to double check with you all here. I also have a '90...
