Help me cure my "Amish Buggy Syndrome" 2014 Civic LX

Tire pressure is good. We did notice a bit of vibration at around 70-73 yesterday on a Christmas shopping trip. Off to the dealer it goes. It's a weird driveline feeling vibe that comes and goes, but it gets really strong at points. Has me wondering if maybe we have a strut going bad or...

If they made a Cadillac that got 35mpg, I'd be driving that beast right now. Lol.

Help me cure my "Amish Buggy Syndrome" 2014 Civic LX

Thanks for the input. I'm sure I'll be dealing with it for quite a while since it's so low mileage, but someone out there has to make a better damping setup.

Help me cure my "Amish Buggy Syndrome" 2014 Civic LX

We have about 4,000 miles on our 2014 Civic LX sedan. Just like the title says, this thing rides like an amish buggy. Every little bump or dip in the road is felt in my neck, back, and bottom. I've had static dropped mini trucks that were slammed to the ground and had a softer ride than this...

What's so bad about the paint quality? Are you guys just referring to the orange peel?

I've seen some brushes that would be good for an occasional clean out of that pipe somewhere, but can't remember where. If I come across them, I'll post a how to on cleaning and protecting. GOOD FIND!

2014 Civic LX Sedan - Ignition Switch bad

So 21 days later we FINALLY get our new car back. VERY unimpressed with Honda service right now. Let's see, you have our brand new 300 mile car in for service, you leave it sitting outside for almost a month, and don't even attempt to wash the filth off before turning it back over to me? WTF...

2014 Civic LX Sedan - Ignition Switch bad

That part turned out to be the switch and the part mine needs was the lock cylinder. They had already gotten the switch in. So they found a lock cylinder from Honda Europe and it should be here in a week. Then that part will get sent for re-keying. Hopefully have our Civic back in a few weeks...

2014 Civic LX Sedan - Ignition Switch bad

I'm debating that or another car altogether if I don't hear some positive news by weeks end. This is ridiculous. 300 miles and I'm out of a car for 3 months? I don't think so.

2014 Civic LX Sedan - Ignition Switch bad

Update. The ignition switch is on backorder until December. WTF?! So we are waiting to hear back from a district manager on how to speed up the process. Currently driving an Accord loaner that I don't really like. Only 3K miles on it and it's filthy and stinks to high hell already.

I believe the A/C auto on feature has something to do with A/C compressor lubrication.

Need a quick troubleshoot (Water movement)...

Water in the floorboard along with the rushing water sounds like a busted heater core to me. I don't know where the heater core is located in these, but I've run across this problem on a lot of older cars where the heater core is under the dash on passenger side behind the glove box. Good luck...

2014 Civic LX Sedan - Ignition Switch bad

Just an FYI. We purchased our LX 5 speed last week, just hit 300 miles in it yesterday and upon returning to the car from a store, no start. We had great dash lights, nothing strange on the iMid, all controls seemed fine. When turning the key there was no reaction, not even a click from the...
