RV6, you really do make a top quality product. Your DP on my Si has gone 20K miles so far and is performing flawlessly. And no CEL's!! Please keep us updated on the R18 project. I will be an owner of an HRV soon and was wondering if this DP will be available for the HRV as well. Thanks!
17's...improved ride quality without sacrifice in handling....lighter......less expensive....still looks good (subject to debate)...heck, I run 16's in the winter
That is because the Eibach's are defective. I had the same issue and they refunded me. I spoke to Eibach and they admitted as to having problems with the springs. The engineer explained they are unable to fine the proper coil material for this application. I went with H&R and they are perfect...
Well the H&R's are on and it is like night and day. The noise is gone and everything just feels smoother. There is a clear difference in the shape of the front springs of the H&R vs the Eibach. The H&R are like OEM and just sat better in the perches. I really think the Eibachs were creating just...
I am crossing my fingers on the H&R's. I have also read noise complaints about the H&R's. I almost went with the Tein S Techs but my mechanic talked me out of it.
After not fixing the problem with a re-install, I contacted Eibach to inquire what else I could do. They wrote me back and said it was a problem with their tubing for this application. I purchased through the TireRack so I had to start the claim with them first. They contacted Eibach and heard...
Welcome and congrats! I have a 98 Z3 2.8......I can appreciate what you are saying about maintenance. The car came with 17 years worth of service/repair records. I just drive her in the summer so I am hoping to keep the operating costs in check. I love my 14 Si Sedan! Happy motoring!
The springs were installed by a more than qualified shop so I will try to have Eibach cover something for the install. Michal006 you mentioned you are starting to get a noise. Funny thing is I had no noise for the 1st 1,000 miles then it was all down hill from there.
UPDATE: Turns out the Eibach Pro Kit for 2014-15 Civic Si's are defective. Eibach/Tire Rack are refunding me. Unfortunately I have to pay for another install. I ended up going with H&R's.
My Pro Kit is creaking and popping at slow speed turns etc. Took the whole thing apart, greased the thrust bearings, reassembled and torqued to spec. Noise is still there! it is a shame because I have ran the Pro kit in a zillion cars before this without a problem. So I contacted Eibach...
Disclaimer: By opinion is not based on any kind of analytical science but based on my experiences....YES...this stuff really works. It has certainly made all my power equipment run better and I use it when I store my BMW for the winter. I have a few very critical friends who swear by this stuff...
Mine sold on Ebay for $900.00...perfect condition, no curb rash and about 900 miles on the set. Nice wheels but too heavy for my tastes. They really kill the feel of an otherwise excellent chassis/suspension. (Also keep in mind the 14-15's don't have tpms sensors like the prior years hence the...
