I appreciate the info/facts. I wasn't sure how a different suspension setup changed things, I just thought he meant that as long as you didn't INCREASE the camber past what the drop naturally gave you, you *should* be fine. I guess I should look into some camber kits. I only didn't want to buy...
I know you weren't directly responding to me, but I'd like your input/$0.02 on not buying a camber bolt or camber arms.. Because his article was about the natural camber from a drop, not excessive/non-functional camber. Naturally anything other than 0 will wear unevenly, positive or negative...
I'm also curious about this because I read this article and am currently living by these words. Lol. I refuse to buy a camber kit until I see facts that camber is the culprit.
Thanks for the info! I'll look out for the tool and see if I can find info on certain temperatures that work well, etc. I wonder if that's the type of tool that you could just rent somewhere.... Haha
I got you, man. I'm thinking 18x8 +35... I'll have to find someone help me roll the fenders though. Or at least do some more research. I've never done that before..
I should have been more descriptive. I was planning on buying spacers as well to hold me over until I buy new wheels in hopes that it may look better than stock offset, but I was concerned that it may look bad. However, I was pleased to see that he used spacers and achieved a pretty killer look...
That's quite the flattering angle. :hitit:
I was concerned about how it might look because I won't be buying wheels at the same time that I buy my coilovers, but damn... I'm excited now.:dancing:
That makes sense. At least I got lucky enough to not sound SUPER stupid if you weren't even in Ohio. And I was curious. Well, I like your Civic! Let me know if there's ever anything going on close by!
