    A/C system

I haven’t ran AC for over a year haha, lines have been disconnected from the compressor but tomorrow I think I’m going to rip out the whole system while I’m in there...started my car on the new GT28 turbo today and drove it around and it just gets too hot and heats up the alternator to the point...

    A/C system

So the compressor is finally coming out and being replaced with an idler pulley to make room for the exhaust and I was wondering if the whole system could come out or does it tie into any other systems or is it on its own closed system?

Add the intake and exhaust, then get a tune.

Just bought my first 2015 Civic, need advice on performance enhancement

The tune is everything, and a good tune at that. Getting someone that tunes Honda specific is a must in my opinion..and yea Webby I just went budget on everything just to get started. I put about 2 oil changes worth of miles on the eBay setup and this weekend will be my second oil change on the...

Excluding wrong parts/parts i thought would work - I would say about $2,000 on a rough eBay setup with vibrant oil feed and return lines. Now that I’m more in depth with genuine parts I’d say $3,500 for a worry free (custom of course) build. Didn’t do a clutch job on first go around and it would...

Just bought my first 2015 Civic, need advice on performance enhancement

For what you pay for the mods all you get out is noise. I tried everything, spent more time and got more headaches from bolt ons than I did with a turbo build. If you want to get the cheapest/best performance, buy a tuning solution and have a tuner tune your car while it’s stock and it will...

He’s right, these motors are made to sip gas and no matter what bolt on mods you buy you’ll gain almost nothing in performance even with a tune

    oil consumption follow up

The scratch can’t be too bad if all cylinders have the same/similar compression readings so I wouldn’t worry about that now. Your main focus should be to track down the oil issue

    Throttle Body Leak?

Don’t our cars have Idle air control valves that bypass the throttle plate at idle? On a different note, check the gaskets that could have been damaged during install

Welcome to the site, if you plan on going FI; do it. I wasted a lot of money on overpriced engine “performance” parts and never got the satisfaction I’m getting from boost. Although I will say these cars are awesome at cornering and handling if you decide to go that route, there are a lot of...

    R18 + Boost

Although the biggest issue was (and still is the exhaust) VERY tight, kind of close to the alternator and without removing the AC compressor entirely I dont think its possible to run anything bigger than a little ebay TB25 turbo

    R18 + Boost

Install is easy, just like any other turbo build. its very straight forward with some tight spots but I managed to run my intercooler piping relatively easily and oil drain and feed is pretty easy as well. I ran my TB25 turbo up to 17psi and my GT28 im currently working to put in I hope for at...
