The previous owners cut in a sunroof section from a coupe into this hatchback. They come that way in Europe on some trims, but not in the states. I like having a sunroof, so I'm not opposed to doing the work to make it safe.

So not much progress made on the civic lately. I did get the a and b pillars sanded down to see how bad a job the previous owners did welding the roof back on. In short, it's better than i thought, but still a **** show. I'll attach pics if i took any. But between being sick and life, haven't...

I was a quick lube tech at my local nissan dealership when i first moved back to nc. I'll do alignments all day if you let me, a 1 hour job i can usually get done in 20 minutes. Easy money. Never made it over to the main shop side before i got my current job.

I dunno how i didn't see the roof part. So i would just do that, but.......... they cut in the roof section of a coupe at the a and b pillar and cut across the roof at the front of the rear quarter window. While That's probably the most it needs body work wise. So i don't really wanna hack up...

Yup, going k swap. Im shooting for a k24a2 right now. May or may not go awd, just the passive from the newer crv's. But i did learn that the 6 speed tsx gearset will fit in a crv trans...so there's that.
