Just got a set of 18x8 +35. Tire size was going to be 225/40/18. Looking to get a ~2" drop or something close on Coilovers to close the fender gap. How much of an issue with rubbing should I expect. would I be better off with going 215/40 on the tires.
Yeah, no doubt. I got it to work out nicely. Definitely gets compliments when people see it, even had people say it looked stock Love the 8 inch display too
Nice looks good, will do! Did you just tap into the existing wires and reroute them? Also if you remember, did you mount them together or on separate supports ?
Does a boot not fit nicely on the acuity? Or just tryin to show it off more lol
Both are real nice setups tho.
Also, Is it weird having that 2 piece offset type style or is it non noticeable when shifting
(might be a weird question just seems like from the pics it would be obvious...
Upgraded to the Q300 from stock recently. Definitely not a fart can exhaust. Improves the cars sound by 110%. When you read up on it, a lot of people say it's close to stock/stock-ish etc. etc... that was misleading for myself. It's definitely a lot louder than stock but in a good way. It's...
Going with Truhart suspension and D2 lowering springs and doorman camber adjustable rear arms.
Pros: 2" drop and the price is right.
Cons: may not ride as optimal as HFP /Fit like OEM
Should I be prepared with new hardware / parts for the install? I don't know what part numbers would be...
How long do you think a spring setup would last ? Looking at D2 springs which claim a 2" drop.
Would it be best to get truhart performance shocks and do them both in one shot?
I have a 2012 Civic Si coupe with 44k miles. I'm really interested in lowering her a bit (1.5" - 2"), would be ideal. Since she is my DD I want everything to be done right and made to last as long as possible.
As a daily driver (no intentions of track days or racing), are springs or coilovers...
Thats a good point, @amber benson. Another reason why I am hesitant lol. I've seen it in the gold-ish color and it hadn't looked too bad. Im going to make sure that the center cap is matched and going to get different lug nuts (black). Comes down to preference/quality finish I guess...
Now do I go the "metallizer" (top) or "pearlizer" route. Not sure what's better to use, only ever used the black plasti which will be the base layer for either type
Looking to Dip my stock si rims in a few weeks. WHAT COLOR??? really can't seem to pull the trigger, car color is the Polished Metal Metallic.
Bronze/Gold or White are my thoughts currently .
Let's see some opinions lol
