Article says it was owned by the dealership and it was listed at $3.2M. The employee was driving the car to a show on behalf of the dealership (I'm assuming to potentially find a wealthy buyer).
Yup, if they use it for content, the car and any parts or other expenses (detailing, wrapping, etc.), are all filed as a business expense. Still tough to break out as Google is constantly changing the algorithm making it difficult to continue making money as a YouTuber (RCR did a bit on this...
Yup, that was it, driver's seat plug wasn't fully seated. As I thought about it, during the reinstallation, I had plugged them all in, then started to unplug them to reroute the harness thinking I didn't route it properly, only to figure out I had it right but failed to reverify the plugs. Oh...
So, over the weekend, I managed to get the new sunroof motor and glass installed along with reinstalling the headliner I had removed months ago to begin troubleshooting the sunroof. The new motor did correct my sunroof operation issue. And, the glass seemed to go in without much trouble...
Hmm, interesting. Unfortunately, the only situation that really 'mirrored' my situation was the first part of the second one when I turned the car off and then back on. While the EPS indicator was on and the system was out, I unfortunately couldn't afford the stop at the dealer at that time...
Well, I had to jump in the car for a quick errand and when I started it up, everything worked as it had before (no Power Steering issues). So, not a fuse at least. Also, not sure if the EPS rack on a '12 Civic Si uses fluid (I haven't had a chance to dig into things) but for what it's worth...
Not really sure where to put this question; so, I figured a post about random stuff would be the best place.
Anyhow, driving my Civic into work this morning; stopped for gas on the way, maybe about 10mins from my house along my 50min commute. When I started the car back up, I had no power...
Well, I'll find out as I've already ordered the parts through my local dealer. But, I tried it both with the motor connected as well as disconnected with the same results. The only other thing I could think of is possibly a failed limit switch somewhere that I'm not seeing (but, my look at...
So, ran some tests on the pins for the motor and harness. I'm getting a consistent 12V supply on the two large pins for the harness (so, the motor has power); but, when I test the module pins, I'm only getting a brief voltage spike (like the relay shuts and immediately opens) and the highest I...
I think that is what I was leaning towards doing next as well. That would definitely confirm the fault is on the board, at least somewhere, and make me a little more comfortable with replacing the motor assembly.
I think this is my culprit for sunroof operation failures:

Well, I removed the headliner a few months ago and haven't done much with the sunroof system. That was until yesterday. To recap, about a year ago, it started acting up. Basically, it would open but wouldn’t close (you could hear a click, but no motor action) and progressively got worse (at...
Yeah, there are lots of articles and things talking about Ferrari's "rules" of ownership that you have to agree to in order to buy a car from them. Pretty much the only way around it is to buy one from a 3rd party but then it loses all resale value and Ferrari will pretty much ignore you if you...
Ok....this is a joke....right!?!? Or, am I missing something (your location says Canada)?
I grew up in Florida but have lived in quite a few places, many of which got snow on the regular (Washington, New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island to name a few of the more northern ones for me)...
