Someone else said that on the MTF but that's pretty close to what I run too. I dont go by mileage for MTF though, i just do it every 2 years. I did it once after 6 months and it was nearly new, 1 year and also still pretty close to new but with some slight viscosity loss. After 2 years it was...
Sinub,
I used to be a preferred customer too but my cost benefit was erased when a local store started carrying Amsoil on the shelf at preferred customer pricing. I mostly use Amsoil for my powersports vehicles and I've started using Valvoline since my 8th gen burned oil with any other brand...
the earlier iteration of the 9th gen was heralded as one of the most boring cars from an exterior design standpoint, so they did a rush refresh for 2015 before rushing the 10th gen out the door ASAP to try and salvage the market share going to the new Camry's and Corolla.
looking to find out what you guys run on your 9th gens. Not trying to start a "What oil is best" or "AMSOIL or nothing!" argument either, just the combo of what you're running.
What clearcoat are you guys using on the plasti-dip (if any)? I tried to Plasti-dip a set of wheels on my last car and it came out completely matte, and same with some badges I plasti-dipped for my brother.
What kind of prep work are you doing also, just cleaning or cleaning and sanding?
and...
When I switched to my AEM CAI I never had any heat soak issues after that, with the SRI unless I revved to like 3k RPM's (from a stop) in the summer with the A/C on, the car would nearly stall out.
Before I got the CAI I started picking up the factory intake parts from ebay because it was that...
That actually helps a lot, thanks. She really wants to get a colormatch to her LED DRL's so based on that white photo, it looks like this kit would fit the bill.
They do, they just can't keep the ones they get so when a customer comes in for another, they had to trade to get that one from another dealer.
Sad part is, when I went back the next day for some stuff (new batteries in new car keyless remote, forgot a couple things in my old car) I saw it in...
Couldn't agree more, I've used this shop repeatedly over the past 6 years though so they've been around for awhile. But I guess this is the first time i'm not getting legal tint. He said all the warranty wouldn't be affected, it was just the receipt that was the point of concern. I do think a...
I mean, ultimately it's your decision to make. Just don't get salty when people think your car is swapped with the new Type-R Crate motor and constantly want to race you.
Personally, I'd say no to anything specifically Type-R related. Red badges are safe and for those I give two thumbs up!
