Hey guys,
I’m getting a 2 din head unit soon and will need to purchase a new dash bezel. The one included on Crutchfield is flat black so I’ll have to replace the left side dash garnish in order to have them match. Since I’d be getting an extra anyways, I was thinking about buying OEM Si dash pieces because I LOVE the carbon look of the ’13 Si. I can’t think of any reason why the Si piece wouldn’t fit an EX since they look pretty much the same. Has anyone tried this or know any reason why it wouldn’t work? The carbon looking pieces are more expensive so I was hoping to get some type of confirmation that they’d fit prior to ordering them.
If anyone doesn’t know what piece I’m talking about, here is the one included with a head unit: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_120957882B/Metra-95-7882B-In-dash-Receiver-Kit.html
I drive a ’13 Civic EX
Thanks,
Velox
