I've got some new cheapo knock off wheels that match both in all 4 wheels and in color for the next event. It's a pain in the *** finding wheels for 4x114.3 and eBay knock offs are the only ones in our price range for both width and bolt pattern that we need. The Bassets fit the bill too but they do not like the hubs on this car even properly torquing them with the lug centric lug nuts.

We also put a built JDM H22A in there. It really sucked having the wrong ECU for that engine for the last race we did. It was an auto prelude ecu that I had modified to work on a manual. With no time to add chrome we had to just run with that tune and the 6200rpm redline. I've since got a P28 and had the car tuned and screaming to 7800rpm with VTEC BWAAAAHHHING is much better.

Haha, I bought it from a friend for $200 who hated it as a DD. He then got so involved in helping us with the build we let him race it in the first race and at the end of the first 14 hour enduro he said "I fing hate this car still" yet he still want to drive it.

That is awesome. Those engines are some of the nicest Honda has ever made. Much more torque than a b series and cheaper . Just wondering why you chose the accord as your platform.

We were looking for 92-95 Civics, any year Miata, FC RX-7s, and were having he worst luck trying to buy things. Friend had the accord, it's a solid chassis, I used to love the old WTCC and BTCC Accords and it was $200.

That is legit racecar status. What kind of events do you run with it?
Thank you! Mostly Chumpcar races (14 Hour races), SCCA PDXs, and tomorrow we are doing our first SCCA Enduro with it a 3.5 hour race.

Before we swapped it to an H22 the F22 we had, was losing power hard but still chugged along in a 14 hour event. It crossed the finish line and completely died on us going up on the trailer. Piston rings were shot and we had just procured a 96 Prelude with frame damage for $700. Took the engine out (had the ATTS trans) and sold the rest of the car as is for $1000 haha. That engine had issues so we found a JDM H22A on craigslist, put that in, and had the H22A4 completely rebuilt.
