DIY 2012 Civic ProClip Install DIY

These are the install pics from putting in my ProClip center mount that ProclipUSA.com just released, it's not the cheapest way to mount something in your vehicle but definitely the cleanest, sure beats a suction cup mount and I am very pleased with the location they chose for the 9th Gen Civic. This is the forth different vehicle I have bought one of these for, would never use anything else. It's a two part system, you buy the piece that is made for your car and the piece that is made for your device and they work together. http://proclipusa.com

Looks like it'd be very handy, and still keeps easy access to radio/heater controls. Thanks for posting!

I was thinking Asus EEE, plugged into FlashPro and keeping it for on the fly tune and readout of computer raw data for 02, oil psi, ext..

is it pretty simple to take your phone in/out of the clip?

the one i have is adjustable so I can make it as tight or loose as I want. It's the iPhone with case model, if you get a non case holder it's not adjustable but is coated with a "fuzzy" substance that holds the phone snug but makes it easy to slide out.

I've been thinking of getting a Garmin, and have been thinking about where to put it. This is a very good idea. May have to go actually buy the Garmin now.

Don't have a smart phone that you can buy a GPS app for? I wouldn't spend the money on a stand alone anymore, the smartphone apps are as good if not better, I use Navigon on the iPhone.

you're at the mercy of your phone having service. There are a number of states I've been on road trips without any cell service.
