These have proved to be a popular mod with the 9th generation 2012-2015 Civic Si. Due to the expansion valve in the stock CMC there has been some issues with shifting into second gear at high rpm, generally during racing when you need it most. The percentage of issues is generally pretty high normally 50-60% of cars have the issue.

The Issue: Customers have complained about grinding and or full lock out of the gear. Grinding will soon lead to synchro failure. We have designed our CMC kit to be a little different from others as far as the SS line goes. The SS line in our kit is a heavy duty, rubber coated and uses a more reliable approach as far as the fittings to provide a solid and nearly unleakable connection between the CMC to the salve cylinder. We have done research into the new revised units and although these don't leak they still contain the expansion valve which needs to be removed, modified and drilled and customized. Which end up costing a bit more as well you still need to adjust those CMC's in nearly a perfect way to get them to still perform right. With the EM1 kit you nearly have a bolt-on and go application, all you need to do is swap over the stock 9th gen shaft into the EM1. Which is a simple process and there are many guides out there on how to do this.

The Solution:
The EM1 "Nissin" CMC + Stainless Line. The end result has been nearly hundreds of the kits sold and literally zero reports back from the customer. These come with a 1 year warranty, thats very simple. We pride ourselves that our em1 kit is the most affordable and reliable cmc kit that removes the problems straight away and provides a crisp pedal feel thats more direct. When and if we do find a more affordable or better solution you can be sure we will do our best to provide that solution. We stand behind these kits and through thorough testing and unbiased responses from customers youll find that this kit is and has been the best solution on the market even since the 8th gen civic. If it didnt work or was inferior we would stop selling it.

Install Overview (quick version):
Uninstall the stock CMC, swap over the stock cmc shaft / end into the em1. Use everything else from the em1. Be sure to bench prime the new CMC to help speed the process. Then be sure to set the freeplay in the new cmc so there is some...generally about 1inch.

The Price: $149.99 w/ FREE Shipping
