Hrmmm. Kinda pissed that I just purchased a 2014 Civic Si Coupe this past week. Hopefully there will be a way to incorporate this into the 2014 models.

The apple version will be available to 2014 owners this summer through a software update.

I can't imagine it requiring any additional/different hardware to perform the feature set listed. Maybe they'll roll out an update to 2014 owners in 2015.

Pretty cool. But a project like this requires collaboration between google, the auto manufacturer, and the head unit manufacturer. So there's a pretty good chance they will partner with a select few auto manufacturers. I hope Honda is on that list.

So far they just have siri integration and the hondalink for apple, the guy at the dealer said theyll make a cord for android to support hondalink.

Shouldn't require any specific cable. Just connect your android to the usb port in the car... hopefully I can get this via an aftermarket radio.
