I've wanted to get projectors in my Si Sedan since the day I bought it, and I'm finally going to take that step.

I'm looking for some of the more affordable options out there as there are still other plans I have for my car.

I've heard mixed reviews about the mini H1's. I'd also like to hear from someone who has installed them

themselves... how difficult was it? Would I be better off to send them out and have them done? Whats

the cost difference.

mini h1's are by far the cheapest option.

I've tried them on a couple of retrofits without any issue. There is definitely a difference in quality between an oem projector like a tsx, tl, s2000 etc and the minis. They have nice output for their price though.
 
Thanks for the feedback Webby, I probably will go with the H1s. I was quoted $480 to ship off my lights and have them retrofitted.. does this seem like a resonable price? Im trying to estimate how much it'd cost to do them myself.
 
Like $480 was the labor price plus the return shipping? What company quoted you?

This was for the H1 Bi-Xenon kit
 
what company was quoting you? One member just had a bad experience with another shop on his retro. It's $270 for the kit alone from TRS. $110 in labor seems low
 
Yeah, HIDillusionz is legit. For that price and you don't have to buy parts? I would jump on that.
 
Yeah, that price plus shipping and I dont have to buy anything. Seemed like a good deal to me, I was just curious how much i'd pay to do it myself. Seems worth it to have it done by a professional for that price.
 
Also, have any users here tried out any ebay headlights that come with projectors? I wouldnt expect much from them but you never know
 
jump on that price. Totally worth it, and better output over the ebay lights. He's legit

Man for that price I'd ask and see how much extra it would be to jump up to the mini D2S kit from the H1, its a $45 difference for the kit from the H1 and significantly better output. I think it would be worth a little extra money to have them instead.
