Well I have a fg4 and I recently bought some bbs lm the specs on them are 17x8+20
I don't know what the problem is the two wheels fit in perfectly in the front and 2 in the back just sticks out so much I don't know if it's my tires or the hub needs to be bore can someone help?

JayDieM.TraN was probably the closest wheel setup that I can think of

he was on 17x9 +22ET 235/40ZR17 tires

he can chime in on what all needed done to get it to work properly, or issues he had...

I wonder if he has camber arms or rolled fenders. If it isnt then I might have to go with 205/40 tires cause im guessing stock tires are I wide and my car is pretty slammed

you have any pics?? I test fitted my new wheels 18x9.5 +25 and they fit fine. they stick out since they are wide but fit.

Hey dude, how's it going? Any ways, I am currently on Skunk2 V2 Rear Camber arms & Ingalls front -3 camber bolts, & yes I had to run camber in the front and rear on my set up cause I ran 17x9+22 & 235/40 Tires. My camber setting for my front were: -3.5 degrees my camber setting for my rear were: -4.5 degrees to tuck my wheels/tires. Without major camber in the front my tires will hit against my fenders and as for the rears my tires will rub the inside of my quarters.

okay so it didnt have anything to do with tire size and that it was the hub 2 of them were smaller then the other i will post pic as soon as i get home i just put the other two in the shop so they can bore it to the right side. hopfully this solves it.

would the skunk 2 rear camber arms fit our civics?

Sorrry just notice thats silly me i answred my own question. What happened was 2 of the wheels hub was smaller then the other two so i went and got them bore.

so it wasn't an offset issue. It was the hub size

So that was a manufacturing problem? Or the models were slightly diff front and back?

I ask since I am planning to buy a new set of RIMs and tires in the spring and curious if this can be a problem.

nothing to do with offset the hub was just too small thus making the wheel stick out way too muh.

and dragos im pretty sure it was a manufacturing problem or maybe that wheel or the person that bought the wheel ordered the hub size a bit smaller.

How is the clearance on the inside? I'm thinking the +35 would allow the use of a 245 and perhaps not hit fenders and quarter panels. I'm doing research before biting the bullet and I don't want to run those camber figures. (Not my thing)

245 should clear in the front with a bit of camber rolled and pulled fenders but the rear I don't even think it'll clear unless it rubs a lot that'll force you to run more camber and roll/shave your quarters.
