Hey guys... so i have a weird signal issue of some sort i can't manage to diagnose...

I recently changed my brake bulbs because i had some cheaper 2 filament style LED's in there. Now noticing after i swapped the LED's, the center brake light stays illuminated when i have headlights on and for some odd reason there is a much smaller diffrential in power output from lights on to braking. Almost un-noticable... it looks like im driving around with brakes on.....

Help?

So you had led and went to another new led? Link to the type you installed?

solved this issue if anyone ever runs into it in the future. It was a little more work than i had expected. Had to take the dash apart. Capacitor C8890 or C8980 (forget and didnt write it) was actually blown. Turns out i slightly exceeded the secondary current and it was pulling it anyways once i switched on the headlights. Turns out the car was throwing a code somehow and bipassed directly to third brake light. Didnt help me solve the issue much. But yeah, solved now...

Damn. Sounds like u did some digging. Thanks for giving us the solution.
