So I was looking around for a new car to drive and I thought I had my choice set for a 240sx. A S13 from Niagara Falls that was a complete bust and a S14 that I won on a bid on eBay. But I found a very good deal on a '95 M3 that was very hard to pass. This is my Avus Blue Metallic E36 M3 with white leather interior. My new toy.

Current mods (as far as I know - 6/26/2016):
-Huge M3 banner tinted over on the front windshield.
    -6-speed shift knob (lol wut?)
    -E46 wheels
    -Drilled front rotors
    -Knockoff Ebay coilovers
-Rear tints and a M3 banner on the rear windshied tinted over
    -Some sort of intake
    -Red valve cover

The car doesn't have parking brake either. :D

    Future plans:
-Get it running as smoothly as possible so I can drive it hard.

The seller owned this car since September 2015 (shown in the title) and he only drove it for 30 miles. He did not touch the car since he had no time for it. I blame all the stupid mods on the previous owner before him. Haha.

Here it is getting towed via AAA to my house. The towing guy was 'prepped' for this low car.

The owner also handed me a service manual for the car. Honestly, I like Honda's Bishko service manual for my 8th gen much more since it is more detailed. But then again, the Bishko service manual is much newer.

While checking out what the car has in store for me, I looked in the spare tire compartment and I saw this surprise. It's another E46 wheel with a tire that is completely destroyed. :rotfl:

I ordered all the necessary products for oil change, trans fluid change, brake flush, coolant flush, parts for the parking brake. And I also ordered Koni Yellows and H&R race springs since I cannot trust knockoff suspension parts.

Today, I did a little bit of interior cleaning. I completely removed the front seats to inspect how dirty the carpet is and to see how much gunk and human slime it collected over the years.

I love these Vader seats. :drooling:

    Yep, it's pretty dirty.
I tried to do the best I can by spraying carpet cleaner and scrubbing the carpet with a brush. This is much better.
The car didn't come with floor mats, so I had to improvise.
    Good enough.
I cleaned all the panels and applied Meguiar's natural shine. I also used Lexol cleaner and conditioner all the leather. I didn't wipe down the conditioner off the seats since I'm letting the leather soak them up. I'll apply more tomorrow to keep the old leather healthy.

Ghetto 6-speed shift knob for a 5-speed car is installed in the most ghetto way. It was probably installed in Ghettoville. Yes, that is foil wrap to make the shift knob fit snug into the lower diameter shifter.
There's black stuff that was used to hold the aluminum foil. I wasn't sure what it was, but a friend guessed RTV silicone which is a good guess.
Luckily, I was able to collect all the black gunk using my glove.

The shifter is now clean and I need a shift knob. I might as well get a stock one for now.

Where's all the mid 90,s m3 love? I remember worshiping those in high school. My d15b7 just just couldn't beat em. Ha. Can't wait to see some hot fire.

Looks like it's going to be a lot of work but then again it is a project car.

I didn't have the fuel filter in my list. I'll add it.

Pretty cool project car. Will it be gutted like nomar said, or full interior? Goals or plans for it?

I think jrotax and a lot of other people had the oil pump nut welded on.

As of now, it will be a full interior. My plan is to have the car running properly and use it for track later on. I've been wanting to get a second car so that I can have a back up if one fails during a race event.
Yeah, I saw that. I guess I won't do an oil change just yet and get other parts for the oil pump nut fix (oil pan gasket and new nut or weld).

Previous owner must have been a Honda fanboy deep inside. That red velve cover kills me :turbospin:

Yeah, I want to do something about that. But it isn't necessary right now. Lol.
