Dasaita Android HU Help.

Hi, I have a 2014 SI. I am pretty sure it is without premium sound according to the diagram. Before I ordered the HU I contacted the company and told them my make and model so I would have compatibility. Well, I have no sound, and my side and rear camera do not work. The steering controls do work /gps navigation etc. I have contacted the seller and they want to send me a harness but I don't know how long that will take and if it takes longer then the return window I would be SOL. I have looked at the "Chinese android navigation unit" thread I see that there was a lot of hands on with the wiring. I am thinking possibly mine was wired wrong or just the wrong wiring harness all together. The Amp Con wire (purple) isn't attached to anything and I don't see a ground wire. Also I the hundreds of videos I have watched over the past couple weeks there were two yellow male video/cam plugins and I only have one. I have uploaded a couple pictures of what things look like. Anyone willing to help point me in the right direction?

I don't know how your unit is wired, but you have premium audio with an amplifier. All of the SI models have an amplifier. Did you purchase it through ebay or?

I ordered it through the Dasaita Store on Aliexpress. I took it to Best Buy to get help. Lol They said get the correct wiring harness and we will install for $100. If that was the cause I would do it myself. Anyway, I am waiting for the store owner response about how long it will take to receive the "correct" harness. I will post a video of the set from YouTube, if that isn't against the rules.

Also, I thought the Premium Sound units looked like this (pictured) j5uu01.png mine doesn't look like that.. it looks like (2ndpictured)20190530_234426.jpg

That first picture you posted from the wiring thread is from the 2012 premium audio setup. The radio was changed in the 2014/15 civics when they did the refresh.

39100-TS9-A02 is the radio for the 14/15 si.

Ah I see new to search for the wiring diagram for my year. It also looks like there is no HDMI and USB ports in the bottom. Here is the video of the Android HU:

Maybe this visual help me get in the right direction. Thank you.

I was thinking someone had posted the 14/15 diagram, but it’s not there. I asked a member who has them if they could paste them, but he hasn’t been on recently.

https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/logon.aspx
This will give you access to any diagrams and whatnot you could want, but it’ll cost $10 for a day of access to it.

Or you could send him a private message. He has the diagrams supposedly. That should send him an email notification to check the site if you’d ask him for the diagram.

Up to you

so I cannot access the link, but those definitely look like they're part of the audio wiring. I cannot read what the text says on the diagrams, but it definitely looks like other diagrams posted for the 2012's.

Oh Okay. Would you like me to save the pdf/images and send them to you (.rar) or just post in this thread so you can have them for others? There is a W/O Navigation (Display Audi), W Navigation (Display Audio).

If you can save it and post it as an image or pdf that’d be great

Hi Itsprin,

Well, looking at the diagram you submitted, there's signal for the LaneWatch camera (J20) and signal for the Rear Camera (J15). But, if your SI uses the same voltage level from the others Civics, then it should be 8 Volts on J16 and (probabilly) J21 for the LaneWatch camera. It's important to check with a voltimeter the voltage levels, because the stock Civic headunit usually feed the camera with the 8V.

You car does have a stock genuine Honda rear camera, right? If your HU is not feeding the cameras with the right voltage, then it's going to get a black image... And if the HU is sending a higher voltage level, it's dangerous for the cameras. Another important pin is the J7: the car sends 12 Volts on this pin when you engage the reverse gear, so your new HU certainly does have some pin like that "senses" the 12V, changing the input mode to camera image.

By the way, do you have diagrams for all the HFL (Handsfree) from the the 14 and 15 Civics (with Navigation), showing the pins and connectors? I do have one, but I think it's not for the NAV model..

After investigation, the reason I wasn't getting any video output because the J15/J20 slots from the aftermarket wiring harness had no wiring. So of course there would be no output. I made a dispute with the company for $90 towards a correct complete wiring harness after 2 weeks of being ignored and they quickly replied and asked would I drop the dispute if they send a correct one so they mailed that off yesterday. So fingers crossed it works since I sent the wiring diagram multiple times. After far as the nav diagram, let me check the website when I get home. :)

just don't drop the claim until you get the right part and it's working. You cannot go back after reversing the claim

Is this what you were looking for?

They sent it and the audio and rear camera worked but the side camera did not only an "!" but after like and hour in the car going through all the coding options. I switch the "other" settings to customer version 2 and car play on. Now sure with of those two is the one that did it but it allowed it to work. So now I am on to customizing the interface with Nova Launcher and vinyl wrapping the plastic trim in dark grey since I have to do a lot carving to get the head-unit to lay flush. I was going to set the new head-unit into the oem mic but I am exhausted with this at the moment... so ill just strategically place the aftermarket one for now.
