Excellent radar detector windshield mount

This sticky suction mount is perfect for adhering to the part of the windshield that is dot-tinted in the Si to reduce sun glare. I've tried other suctions including the factory twin suction mount but nothing would stick to that uneven surface. This also resists very hot and cold temps and stays firmly mounted to the surface. Just be sure to clean the suction mount with cool water and the windshield with glass cleaner before mounting. It provides a much better hidden location instead of mounting it under the mirror or anywhere along the top of the windshield or the bottom on the dash. It fits Passport, Escort and Beltronics.

I tried that one, the GPS was spotty, had to go with the mirror mount with my 9500 xi. It us nice though.

i picked up a cheap one at work (best buy) and i have yet to try it. sick of the standard one falling off all the time
