Google Spreadsheets:
For those who would like to create and share spreadsheets with users, we now have a way of doing just that.
First create a spreadsheet in google, or copy an existing excel spreadsheet over to google documents.
http://docs.google.com - free service for creating/sharing files. You just need a google login (or gmail account).
Step 1.) Create Your Spreadsheet -
======
========
Step 2.) Publish The Document
go to "file" > "publish"
You will get a new popup menu like below.
Click "Start Publishing"
After clicking "start publishing", a new window will pop up. Click close on that new popup. Nothing needs done with that info.
Step 3.) Edit The Share Settings - Top Right Button
======
Step 4.) Edit The Share Settings - Make It Public
======
Step 5.) Copy The Code Provided : Everything From "key=" Needs Copied
========
Step 6.) Paste The "key=" Code In Your Post With These "Tags" Below
The code copied from google needs to be inserted into "gss" tags. See image below for example
screenshot of example post. Note the "gss" opening tag, and the "/gss" closing tag.
Follow that ^ example and you'll have a working spreadsheet that members can all see.
