Honda Confirms Type-R For U.S. At Civic Concept Debut

Yeah. The green car is the 10th gen concept.

So that would be the coupe version? I thought we were going to get a hatch as well....maybe just for the Type R?

Green Coupe is the concept of the next 10th Civic. White hatch is the Civic Type R. Come on Nomar.:shady:

white type r = that's the hatch we get
green - civic coupe concept

I had read something that said we were getting a hatch. As in Civic hatch without being an R. Maybe that article was implying that the hatch mentioned would just be the R.

Patent images of the latest 2016 Honda Civic sedan have surfaced. We have all seen the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe Concept shown below -

The released images also show the civic coupe patent images shown below -

The coupe images look to be close to the concept, despite missing the lower LED fog lights and rear spoiler which will most likely be kept for the SI trim. The sedan, which is set to go on sale this fall before the coupe and future five-door hatchback, definitely looks more traditional to the side and rear.

1) The type R will be 40k at least. 2) we are not seeing it in early 2016, otherwise there would be an ability to pre-order it from a dealer 3) it is FWD and for 40k, a lot of other cars would be much better options.

:bleh: Eeeeesh...that side view picture of the sedan. Really don't like the lines. Looks grandpa style.

It is almost like they are trying to turn it into a midsize sedan and possibly bump up Accord up to the Large category. The Accord has turned into quite the beast itself in recent years.
