Well I was lucky enough to prototype HPS new silicone intake tube for the OEM box.

Install is SUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER simple, no need to mod anything just remove your OEM elbow and replace it with the HPS unit. SIMPLE as that !!

The HPS unit does make a little more of a growl under acceleration, throttle response is slightly better. Does make mid range power +4.3 WHP and +3.9 Ft./lbs. Best part about the unit is, there is NO heat soak !! Will probably make a little more power with a drop in filter, say K&N or if there is any other company that makes a drop in.

AND....... If it didn't do anything for the performance, I'd still want one just for the looks.

HAHA well you'll be happy that you will get a little bit of performance out of it. I like also for the fact it is easier to clean then the OEM unit.
 
This is Perfect for Florida cars with all the heat soak we experience down here. Price is fair also.
