thanks for compiling a list of stuff needed. Much appreciated.

The "race spec" stuff interests me. I'm guessing these items are custom? Custom wiring harness, custom pistons/rods...etc?

"Manifold, Exhaust 2012 Si (race spec)"
using some type of 2012 exhaust manifold???? on a k20??? :hmmm?:

Correct. Everything with "race spec" next to it has to modified/fabricated etc. The rest of the things listed with prices are things you can buy out right and use. I was told that the piston/rod combination is a little out of wack... It was said that the 06 TSX piston/rods combo work though!

if you're using a k20 head, ... you could use some sort of k20 exhaust header, no? I don't get why they labeled it "2012 exhaust manifold". The 2012 exhaust is cast in the head. Regardless... I can't wait to see if someone attempts this.

i don't know if the fitment of a k20 would work or not. i haven't done this yet so i'm still learning myself. i'm thinking it means one needs to be fabricated to be used on the k24.

the 8th header would bolt to the head of course. but i think the block might be a C.H. taller than the k20. So you would need to somehow adapt/overcome this. lol. Plus the flange is probably different at the exhaust pipe. But itd be simple for any reputable exhaust shop to modify the end of the header to work.

All the "race spec" stuff listed is parts that need to be fabricated or modified to work!!!

I'm pretty sure there have already been K20/24 headers on the market for a while now. If the TSX internals work on the Z7 block, I think we'll be seeing all-motor, 300whp 9th gen builds pretty soon.

OP, is that 251hp 194lb/ft dyno sheet with the stock K20Z3 cams?

does anyone know what the wire harness changes need to be? im pretty sure people are building k20/k24's with our stick pistons

Umm, correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the use of a k20z3 head require the use of a bolt-on header (OEM or not) versus the 9thgen downpipe? :eyebrow:

The OP says he's using a "2012 race spec exhaust manifold" with his K20z3 "2010 Civic Si 10003-RRB-A02 Cylinder head assembly"

Here are a couple already built if anyone is interested :)
