Will 17x7 rims with 225/45r17 fit on a coupe Lx?
Stock tires are 195/65r15.
The car hasn't been lowered yet.
 
That size is correct as far as keeping your speedometer in check compared to the factory tires you have. You may want to even consider going with a wider wheel than 7". A 7.5" or 8" wheel would do well with a 225 tire. A 225 tire is 8.86 inches wide.
 
Yes, that size wheel and tire should fit perfect. Depending on the offset of the wheel of course.
 
I guess I should have mentioned it: Keep the offset to between +35 and +45 for ease of fitment. +45 is stock.
