need to jack car to replace hubcaps?

Use a jack. The first video works, but it's useless in the scenario of putting a different hubcap back on. That's a shop basically showing how you can take one off. If they had to put hubs back on, he'd have to completely reverse the process with the black washers.

Jack the wheel...take the hub off, new hub on, bolt up...lower car. Then you're not repeatedly loosening and tightening lug nuts over and over.
 
You might want to check if the hub caps fit.
One year's civic's hubcaps, the inflator valve's placed at a spot where your other hubcaps don't have an opening.
