Okay, I've kept myself from asking this long, but f it. Why do you guys mask your plates? Am I really that naive? I was under the impression that you can't do much with a persons plate these days. That's of course unless you're some type of LEO, but for the typical person, what's the benefit? Or is it purely a personal preference type thing?

@fahnix I do it because I’ve been posting pics online for a while and when I first had my first Honda I was told by a buddy to cover your plates because thieves can track you down lol I honestly got used to covering the plates so that’s why I still do it idk its not a big deal though.
