Update : Some new pics and video on page 3.

Hi everyone,

I have been following the site for quite some time and have finally decided to register. I used to be active on 8thcivic and most recently the other current generations forum. As reflected by my user name, this is my 7th civic! Love me my civics I do :) I recently traded my '12 FB6 for a '13 FB6 and I parts swapped everything over except my Eibach RSB.

The vibe of this site seems much more mature and down to earth, should've joined earlier LOL I look forward to being an active member here :) Shouts out to AlienPrime, Sleepy and Illest18 and any other peeps in Vancouver or friends from other sites.

As I am sure someone will eventually ask, here is my list of previously owned rides:

93 Si Hatchback - My first love
95 Si Coupe
96 Hatchback - '98 Integra Type R Turbo Conversion with Feels Widebody Full kit w/ Veilside front end - Ricer days!!
2002 SiR Hatchback - Type R body conversion
2008 Si Sedan
2012 Si Sedan

Here a few pics I have on hand of my current ride and the past couple. I hope they come out okay as I have resized them.

Hi and thx for the welcome!

To be honest it wasn't hard to let her go, it was one of those situations where you think your in love, but then you realize you didn't even know what love really was! haha!

Great looking car and welcome to the site! So what exactly convinced you to switch the 2012 for the 2013? I know my personal reasons for holding out for a 2013, but would love to hear your story!

Nice! Great to have you here. :wavey:

Nice looking cars. Good job. I'll be glad when winter is over and we can put the summer tires back on. The steel wheels look awful in pictures. I hate the look of mine.

Lookin great man! Good job :D

KennyGS Thanks man, great to be here!

andre12dbsi Thanks bro, I know what you mean, I was rolling on steels for since November! LOL I hate that look too :)

AlienPrime Wasup Dog! Great to see you here! Thanks dude

Engineer99 Hi Engineer99, thanks for the welcome. A few things really made me switch. First off it was the interior - I went to my local H dealer (hehe) and sat in a Si Coupe and was like "this is really nice" the softer plastics, aluminum/chrome accents and the faux CF inlay had me at hello. Not forgetting the blacked out A-Pillars and Headliner, add to this heated seats, Auto Climate Control, Backup Camera and the return of the coveted sliding armrest- sold!!!

I hadn't even looked at the outside, but I knew from pics I liked it- The slightly more aggressive front and re-designed rear appealed to me. I really like to new truck/tails,wing and "diffuser".

Of course the subtle enhancements to performance are wonderful to have (steering ratio, sway bars). I didn't even re-install my rear sway as it was only 1mm bigger and it steers like my 8th did. The adjustment to the steering was by far the best upgrade to me.

The icing on the cake, when I knew there was no turning back was when I saw this pic.....'nuff said :) 13.si.sedan.jpg

Sounds like you and I had a similar experience then. I went in to check out the 2013 Civic sedan in December after I saw pictures of the red show model. Loved the new interior (despite not getting the auto climate control in the US Si), and liked the exterior enough (in DBP no less) that I placed a deposit on the 8th of that month. Sorta took a gamble, but I've been very happy with my purchase. I love the new rear end of the Si sedan, I find it incredibly good looking. I saw that same picture and immediately knew I had made a good choice, lol.

Edit: On a side note, do you think you could snap a picture of the wheel/tire fitment to the fender well? Just using a quick wheel offset calculator, the TSW's seem to be a good fit for what I'm wanting, but I'd really like to see how it looks installed.

Engineer99 - here you go bro, wasn't sure what angles you wanted so here are a few, I haven't gone for my custom alignment yet so take that into consideration if needed. The offset on this isn't major at all....if I recall its +3 or +5 from stock. If you need anymore angles or better ones I'll try again...lighting sucks in the UG and its overcast today.
