Wow! How did I not see this thread until now?!
My build is a few years old but updated the graphic cards a bit.
CPU 4770k intel i7
Motherboard g45 msi gaming
16gb of ram I think patriot brand ddr3
Samsung evo 256gb ssd
Western digital black 1tb
Two msi Gtx 970 gpu
Corsair h100i CPU cooler
Thor v2 rose well full tower
Samsung optical drive with blu ray
4K monitor and corsair keyboard and mouse

I have a similar build. 4790k w/ 16GB RAM, Samsung 840 EVO 250GB, single EVGA GTX 970 and use to have a h100i CPU cooler.

Figured out what to do with my setup!! GTX 1080.

Switching desktop I/O from dual link DVI to DisplayPort and getting cables to convert the DisplayPort to DVI inputs for the docking station, that way I can keep the dual setup I have. Video card plus $20 in new cables. Perfect!

Anybody want a nice GTX 680 FTW?
 
I dunno. A couple hundy probably. 4 GB EVGA FTW+ card. Where do you sell a 5 year old card?
 
New video card arrives today! It's gonna be a monster. Witcher 3 with 120 fps here we come! Much better than the 46 I've been getting out of the dinosaur.

Hahahaha I'm the same way Foo! All these parts and I could get away with a i3 with intel hd graphics for my daily use.
 
Replacing the fans on my case. One of them has a bearing going out. Might as well just replace all of the fans because they're cheap and easy to do.

After all, they are just about as old as the Civic. 3x 120 mm and 1x 200 mm fans.
