Pillar airbag deployment?

So I'm dynamatting my car just to get it nice and quiet and was wondering, would dynamatting on the pillars interfere with the air bags deploying in a crash?

I don't know if adding dynamat would pose a possible risk for accidentally slicing an airbag while it's deploying (dynamat has aluminum in it so it can sharp on the edges).

I feel like a decent level of noise leaks through the pillars so I was wondering if anyone has done this already.

If it's like the previous civics, there wasn't much "metal" where you could apply dynamat on the pillar. I haven't seen the 9ths without the plastic trim on it (that I recall), but if you pop it off, you'll probably find that there is speaker wiring and the airbag stuff all concealed there.

I've got a 2014 coupe si. I've pulled the whole car apart to put system in it. If you really have to Dynamat the pillars you can move everything to dynamat. There's one pain in the *** white clip at top by roof. The factory tweeter spot is perfect for replacement.
