These use oiled filters. Would that damage the MAF? Is there a different non oiled filter I could use with it? I pretty much like everything about this intake except the oiled filter as I've read that they can eventually cause buildup on the MAF and toast it. Maybe not on the first round but after a re oil if you get a little too much on the filter. Also how hard is the re oiling process? Thanks in advance.
 
I've had oiled filters on various hondas.... in excess of ~250k miles without any issues. One was installed for over 120k miles without an issue. Re-oiling is nothing. You just spray it down and it cleans out the filter. I cleaned mine out in the evening, and put it back in the next day. No issues at all.
 
Awesome news! How often do you have to clean and re oil them? Or is re oiling them also cleaning them? Have absolutely 0 experience with oiled filters.
