Hi all,

My Civic's battery died today so had a new one put in. Car and all electrical works fine, except now neither of the key fobs work. I press a button and the little red light goes on, but the car doesn't respond.

Does this mean the fobs need to be reprogrammed? I didn't have any issues last time I replaced the battery (about four years ago), the fobs worked just fine.

What's strange is that the Honda factory remote start remote can still lock and unlock the doors, but the key fobs can't.

Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: The fobs simply needed reprogramming. It was an easy process. All is good now.
