engine swap? Are the tires, interior, engine parts all made from plastic?

The frame is heavy diecast, the interior is hard plastic. The lights, windshield wipers, windshield/windows are all plastic. Parts of the wheels are a mix of hard plastic and metal, with the tires appearing to be actual rubber.
It's a very nice model and is well put together. I chose white, but there was also grey, black, and two shades of red available.
