The 55-year-old Apple co-founder and pancreatic cancer survivor has been on medical leave for an undisclosed condition since January 17.

Apple said Steve Jobs has been elected chairman and Tim Cook has been elected CEO.

Stocks are only down 5%. I'm surprised they haven't taken a complete nosedive due to how much of an influence he has.

Regardless, he needs to take care of his health in as best a way as he can.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a pretty big drop tomorrow. Of course with the market going up 300 one day, followed by 500 down the next, and 300 up the next, it's anyone's guess what tomorrow holds.

Tim cook needs to leave the marketing to the current marketing folks and not intervene.

I saw a status like that last night too..lol I wonder where some of these people find their funny statuses

Steve Jobs Made This 12-Year-Old’s Day

When Allen Paltrow was 12 years old, he sent an email to Steve Jobs detailing his love for Apple products. Paltrow also included a photo of his Apple logo haircut. The email and the picture of the shaved Apple logo was passed around Apple headquarters and Paltrow was eventually invited to meet Steve Jobs at the opening of a New York Apple Store. There he experienced what he calls, “the high point” of his childhood. You can read more on Paltrow’s blog HERE and you can see the photos below.
