Hey guys! I’ve been on here long enough and even met a few of you at Tail of the Dragon this year (y’all are a great group and thanks for the hospitality!). So I figured it’s probably time to start a build thread now. I’ll back track a bit, so here goes:
I got this car in March of 2015 at about 11,000 miles from a wholesaler (long story, but i’m never doing that again...). I was torn between an Si and an S2000 after my ‘07 Accord Coupe was squashed in the middle of a sandwich in traffic one day. Anyway the Si won out as it’s way more practical for a DD. And I’ve loved it ever since! It’s by far the most fun (and best looking) car I’ve ever owned. She now sits at about 81,000 miles. Here’s what I’ve got so far:
Engine/Transmission:
-Intake resonator delete
-K&N drop in filter
-CDV delete (so much better to drive now)
-Billet Pro Shop SS (PITA to install, but fun to shift)
-Acuity shifter cable end bushings
Wheels/Brakes:
-Centric Cryo-treated rotors all around
-Stoptech Sport pads all around (very grabby!)
-DOT 4 fluid
-G2 painted calipers
Exterior:
-35% window tint
-eTrailer.com hitch mount for my bike rack
Interior:
-Knock-off Mugen CF shift knob (I can’t tell the difference lol)
-HFP floor mats (came with the car)
Future mods:
Sway Bar, Rear engine mount, FP and Downpipe, possible retrofit? and more over time.
