Sunofwolf Random Banter Containment Thread

Two firehawks 500 on Honda and two more to go. I saved a little money buy taking the 4tire's and 2rims In my Neon to tire shop. These tire shops are all ways trying to over charge me, so I got two put on and balanced and put on car today. The Firehawks look kind of mean on this little car 225 45 17 really fill up the gaps more. Another day or two I will have them all put on. Friday wring and new mount for the escort then ready to do some DD :guitar:or should I say daily racing on the back roads:shady:

How did you save money by only getting two of the Firehawk 500 tires mounted/balance?

I took the tires off myself and put them on myself, so they charged me a little less. Instead of them taking the tires off the car. I still have two left to put on. It was about $5 less.

Oh nice. You didn't say that.

Roadcourse is your forum doppelganger. The two of you have very similar commentary, motorcycle interests, and a Civic. He's in Alabama though.

I fix and upgraded my Escort redline, installed triple suction cups mount and new slender wire for power, good thing about this setup-it's easy to use on any car. Powered it up and works great. KA instant on band is about the only thing they use here in Maine, so you have to be careful even if it works about two miles around a blind curve! One ticket can cost well over a thousand in higher insurance and that's not counting the ticket it self. I have firehawks 500 indy tires installed now 225 45 17 and they are meaty and mean looking. TNPS is working on stock rims.-I really hate that tnps :driving:stuff.:vtec::vtec:

5.4-5.6 mm is the size I have to get to flare my ribit on the vfr 800 going to try to get it perfect, I have a caliper measuring tool that I will send back to amazon after I use it as well bring back the grinder used to cut the chain back to wally world and the ribit tool too, that adds up to $100 worth of tools just to put on this stupid chain. If I only use a tool once it usually gets returned for a refund:tiny violin::rotfl:amamozon stock just went down .000000000000000000001%.

chain tool broke piece of junk, and it may have screwed up a ribit too-sending it back, this is pissing me off. Put new cabin filter in Honda-it was pretty clean. I upgraded with a ep cabin filter. I bought three cabin filters for $18.75 +tax or about $7 each. Monday getting wheel bearing in front on a f250 super duty van. Always something broke, well I don't mind that much Honda is working great, going to tune it with hondata , Ba hum Bug:bananawhipdance::bananasplit::banana whip2::dancing:

My teeth are falling out, so I got a water pick coming. My ribit tool blew up and I think you ribit maybe beyond repair so I got another one coming. I am just going to be in a lot of pain:chopwood::shady::drooling::domokundance::tiny violin::turbobananapoke::rantsmiley::screwy::violin:

Gotta take care of those gums. Still gotta floss with the waterpik. I had to have periodontal scraping / root planing done back in December which wasn’t bad just gotta get numbed up good.

I had that done years ago...without being numbed up.

I go to dentist every 3.5 months but I am still screwed. I have another water pick coming, the first one didn't work at all. Must have been made in china.:drooling:

bought 5qts of pennsoil ultra for about $19 after rebate. Going to get another jug too. Hope this magic stuff works!:bananawhipdance:

I got two jugs of ultra pennziol, I notice when I start the car a upper tick comes from the engine only when cold and sitting for a while. I heard pennziol might stop that from happening, so I am going to change the oil early with pennziol and see if there is any difference. I will wait a little bit though-the napa oil has only 200 miles on it. 05-20 ultra pennziol is said to be able to stand -40 and still flow.

If I remember, a while back one of the members here gave me a hug of Pennzoil Ultra and said it burns less in the Si engine. I used it, can’t say I paid attention.

Watch out for the placebo effect
